Speed up Linux systems with "pre-fetch" type add-on.

I'm always suspicious of things that say they'll speed up your computer simply because in my experience, very few of them work.
Anyway, this looks worth a look.
What makes me a little more tolerant this time is that Gentoo already has something similar.

I've just installed preload on the Ubuntu on my MacBook just to see whether it gives any benefit or not. In the very short time I've been using it, there does seem to be a small, but noticeable improvement in the speed with which frequently used pages open.
