Extend your Windows desktop

I really am not at all a Windows user and it's only very occasionally that I use either of the two XPs I have on my computers.
Nevertheless, this looks interesting and I might just have a look at it. It'd be nice to see XP spruced up a bit and have a little Linux-type eye-candy.
