Firefox 3 -- what exactly does it do?

I rarely use Firefox as I find Opera to be so much faster and easy to use. Is this because I'm just used to it and I'm not giving Firefox a fair opportunity to show it's stuff?
Well, here's a detailed rundown on what's available in the new Firefox 3 to be released tomorrow.
I did try the beta a few times, and I will admit that it seems to be faster and, I suppose, more opera-like now in it's newest incarnation.
The only problem I have with Opera is that quite a lot of stuff (e.g. Google docs) don't work in Opera for the moment.
Nevertheless, I'm very doubtful if I'll ever switch back to FF, no matter what extra stuff it incorporates as I'm not sure I really miss the thousands of addons it continually boasts of.
