Create Python command line tools

This is another great IBM article on the above. While they are always well written serious articles, I just can't ever get down to absorbing its content. Perhaps this points to me being a shallow idiot who's afraid to really dive in at the deep-end.
Then again, maybe it's just laziness.
Anyway, one of these days I'm gonna read one of these and genuinely try to understand and implement it.
Maybe I'll start with this one.
