Online text editor

Darkcopy is suggested by Lifehacker but the comments section is probably more interesting.
Darkcopy doesn't have any online storage and, frankly, I fail to see the benefit of it particularly as I always have a text editor to hand in the dock in either Linux or Mac OSX.
But the comments section has some alternatives that I'll try.

BTW, I've been travelling and had some unexpected problems that kept me offline for a while. But I should be back to absolute normal soon.
