Mouse gestures

I've resisted getting into this despite being frequently told in Opera that I've just use a mouse gesture and do I want to continue (or something).
Although I'm still unclear exactly what the benfits are or, indeed, where I need to improve browsing performance.
However, I'll never know unless I give it a shot.
